BM Windows in Zak World of Façades

A world-class forum on technology innovations in aluminum glass façade design and engineering, called “Zak World of Façades”, has been held in HCMC, with the companion of BM Windows. The forum, successfully held in 25 countries, has attracted multiple leading domestic and international experts in construction, architecture and façade design.

The “Zak World of Facades” forum has attracted multiple leading domestic and international experts in the construction, architecture and façade design sectors.

Sathya Sivan, vice president of Zak Trade Fairs & Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., the organizer of the forum, said Vietnam’s construction sector will continue posting significant growth. Additionally, the urbanization rate is forecast to increase to 45%, bringing about an increase in the number of infrastructure and housing projects.

Mr. Roger Karl Schaerer, senior project director at BM Windows and an international expert in façade, talks about the world’s improvements in façade technology.

In the next decade, multiple high-rise buildings will bloom in large cities such as HCM and Hanoi, creating fertile ground for the growth of the façade sector as well as promoting sustainable architectural models.

On the sidelines of the forum, Roger Karl Schaerer, senior project director at BM Windows, said Vietnam construction sector will report a dramatic growth in the next five years. “Vietnam has yet to met the demand for houses and offices, especially outstanding architectural works which apply advanced technology – achievements of the world’s innovation and development,” Roger said.

With four sessions and multiple specialized seminars, the forum has discussed multiple problems facing in the façade design and engineering as well as the architecture-construction and building material sectors.

At present, construction works are not purely those which can adapt to normal weather conditions in each locality but also climate change as Vietnam is among the countries most vulnerable to climate change.

Façades of projects must be designed to be resistant to heat, light and winds, facilitate the project operations and meet requirements in construction and cost.

BM Windows, which has obtained impressive achievements in design, manufacturing and installment of façades, has represented local suppliers of aluminum glazing products in the architecture-construction sector to participate in the forum.

Mr. Tran Van Tien, General Director of BM Windows (2nd, R), speaks at a seminar, part of the “Zak World of Façades” forum.

Mr. Tran Van Tien, General Director of BM Windows, said international specialized forums like “Zak World of Façades” have provided local enterprises with new ideas to match global trends. BM Windows expects to apply the most up-to-date technology in the world to projects in Vietnam and help domestic technicians to design and produce materials for façades and execute projects. The company is always confident in the ability of Vietnamese technicians, who are now lacking of opportunities to access advanced technology. Therefore, BM Windows will bring such opportunities to local high-skilled technicians.
