The hexagonal parametric façade of Viettel Technical Center

Despite possessing a cube architecture, Viettel Hoa Lac Technical Center makes a strong impression with its unique honeycomb façade system.

The structure of the building is surrounded by hexagonal façades system with a section ares according to mathematics (parametric). The honeycomb cells become smaller at the top of the building, making the future appearance.

To construct this façade, BM WINDOWS uses Aluminium composite panel with thickness of 3mm, hexagonal flat panels with dimensions of 2400x2100mm. Especially, curved corner panels with a radius of 1700mm are connected to the concrete structure by I-beams and steel skeleton frame at the edges. 

The installation of Aluminium panels on a large plane along with delicate details requires high installation and processing techniques, which have been carefully prepared by BM WINDOWS through design, 3D measuring systems capturing the most complex workpieces. Finally, implementing mockup construction to synchronize technical quality and aesthetics.
